  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet heat butter over medium 5 minutes or until butter turns golden brown. Immediately remove from heat. Pour into a large bowl; cool 5 minutes.

  • Add sugars, baking powder, and salt to butter; beat with a mixer on medium to high 30 seconds. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour. Stir in oats, chopped candy bars, milk chocolate chips, and pecans (if using).

  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown and centers appear set. Cool on cookie sheets 2 minutes. Remove; cool on wire racks.

Tips

If using quick-cooking oats, add 1 Tbsp. milk to dough with the eggs
