Brown Sugar and Pecan Air-Fryer Apples

Air-frying apples gives them the perfect "roasted" texture in a flash. Pair these spiced apples with vanilla ice cream or yogurt for a healthy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, cored and cut in wedges

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoon coarsely chopped pecans

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour

  • ¼ teaspoon apple pie spice

  • Vanilla ice cream or yogurt

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 360°F. In a medium bowl place apple wedges. Drizzle with butter and toss to coat. Arrange apples in a single layer in fryer basket. In a small bowl combine pecans, brown sugar, flour, and apple pie spice. Sprinkle over apples.

  2. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve roasted apples over ice cream or yogurt, if desired.

Tips

If apple pie spice isn't available substitute cinnamon in its place.
