Broccoli Gravy Toasts

Directions

  1. In a large skillet cook ham and onion in hot butter over medium heat for 6 minutes or until onion is tender and lightly browned. Add flour to skillet; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add chicken broth all at once and cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add broccoli and cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until tender. Serve gravy over toasted bread slices. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.

this was simple and delicious and my son gobbled up the broccoli. i had salami luncheon in the fridge, so used that instead of ham and it was great. i got six generous servings out of it.
