Directions

  1. Line eighteen 2-1/2-inch muffin cups with paper bake cups; set aside. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Make a well in center of flour mixture; set aside.
  2. In another bowl combine melted butter, honey, milk, and vanilla; add to flour mixture along with mashed banana and chocolate pieces. Stir just until moistened.
  3. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full. Bake in a 375 degree F oven about 20 minutes or until golden. Remove from muffin cups; cool muffins on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 18 muffins.
