- Place coarse sugar on a small plate. Rub rims of eight glasses with one of the lime wedges. Dip rims of glasses in coarse sugar to coat; set aside.
- In a pitcher, combine triple sec, tequila, blackberry brandy, lime juice, and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- In a blender place one 16-ounce package frozen unsweetened blackberries, thawed. Cover and blend until smooth. Strain to remove seeds.
- Add blended fruit to tequila mixture. Place ice cubes in glasses. Pour tequila mixture over ice cubes.
