  • In a large mixing bowl combine the egg, cornmeal, onion, sweet pepper or chili peppers, undrained tomatoes, chili powder, salt, sage, and black pepper. Add pork and beef; mix thoroughly. Shape into a 9x5-inch loaf in a shallow baking pan.
