Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the egg, cornmeal, onion, sweet pepper or chili peppers, undrained tomatoes, chili powder, salt, sage, and black pepper. Add pork and beef; mix thoroughly. Shape into a 9x5-inch loaf in a shallow baking pan.
  2. Bake meat loaf in a 350 degree F oven about 1-1/4 hours or until juices run clear. If desired, serve with hot-style or salsa catsup. Makes 10 servings.
