Directions

  1. Place garbanzo beans, yogurt, tahini paste, and lemon juice in a blender container or food processor bowl. Cover and blend or process until smooth, scraping down sides of container as necessary.
  2. Add onion, garlic, cumin, crushed red pepper, and salt. Blend or process until well combined. Place dip in a covered container; chill several hours or overnight to blend flavors. If desired, roll the edge of a cucumber slice in chili powder; place in dip. Serve with pita chips and crudites. Makes 1-2/3 cups.
