Directions

  1. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to equal 2 cups. Set tomatoes aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan combine tomato juice-water mixture, green onions, bouillon granules, and thyme.
  3. Bring mixture to boiling; add bulgur. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and raisins. Cover and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes more or until bulgur is tender and all the liquid is absorbed. Makes 6 servings.
