Add dried fruit and nuts to a packaged gingerbread mix for these quick-fix dessert bars.
Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside. In a medium bowl stir together gingerbread mix, the water, egg, fruit bits, and pecans. Spread batter in prepared baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
For glaze, in a small bowl stir together the powdered sugar and ginger; stir in enough of the milk to make a drizzling consistency. Drizzle glaze over gingerbread. Cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
