In a medium skillet melt 1 tablespoon of the butter over medium heat. Add pound cake slices; cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until browned, turning once. Remove from skillet.
Peel bananas; cut each banana diagonally into eight pieces. In the same skillet combine sugar, liqueur, orange juice, and the remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Cook and stir about 1 minute or until butter is melted and sugar begins to dissolve. Add bananas; cook for 2 to 4 minutes more or just until bananas are tender, stirring once. Stir in nutmeg.
To serve, place small scoops of ice cream on pound cake slices. Top with banana sauce.
