Stir in 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar until combined. Add 1/2 of a medium banana, sliced. Cook for 1 minute, stirring gently. Remove from heat. Stir in a few drops rum extract. Spoon banana mixture over 3/4 cup hot cooked oatmeal. Sprinkle with a dash ground cinnamon. Serve with 2 smoked turkey sausage links, heated.
