  • Preheat oven to 350°F. For syrup, in a medium saucepan combine brown sugar, honey, cream, butter, and lemon zest. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup. Cool slightly.

  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine walnuts, pistachios, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.

  • Generously grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet. Spoon half of the nut mixture into prepared skillet. Top with half of the dough pieces and drizzle with half of the syrup. Repeat layers.

  • Bake 40 minutes or until golden. Let stand 5 minutes; invert onto a platter. Spoon any topping and nuts remaining in pan over bread. Serve warm.
