Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large saucepan prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain; set aside.
  2. In the same saucepan combine hot Mac and Cheese Base, Asiago cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Cook and stir over medium heat until cheeses are melted. Stir in cooked macaroni.
  3. Meanwhile, in a medium skillet heat butter over medium-low heat until melted. Add shallot; cook and stir until shallot is softened. Stir into macaroni mixture. Spoon mixture into a 2-quart square baking dish. Sprinkle with panko.
  4. Bake about 40 to 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley, mint, and pepper. Serve immediately.
