  • 2 cup crushed ice

  • 1 avocado, halved, seeded, and peeled

  • 4 ounce tequila

  • 3 ounce lime juice

  • 2 ounce triple sec

  • 1 - 2 teaspoon agave nectar

  • 2 - 3 thin slices fresh jalapeno, optional

  • 3 sprigs cilantro, optional

  • 4 lime slices or wedges, optional

  • chile-lime salt, optional

  1. In a blender combine the ice, avocado, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, agave nectar, 1 sprig cilantro, and jalapeno. Cover and blend until smooth.

  2. If desired, rub each of two glass rims with a lime slice or wedge, then dip rims in chile-lime salt. Separate margarita mixture between the prepared glasses and garnish with an additional sprig of cilantro and lime wedge or slice, if desired.
