  • In a very large bowl combine the first four ingredients (through crushed red pepper). Add ground beef and pork; mix well. Shape into six 1/2-inch-thick patties.

  • Coat a grill pan with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add pineapple and red onion; cook 4 to 6 minutes or until light brown, turning once. Remove from pan. Add patties to grill pan; cook 10 to 13 minutes or until done (160°F), turning once.

  • Serve burgers in buns with pineapple, red onion, and pea pods.
