Apple Smash

Directions

  1. Place the first four ingredients (though nutmeg) in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Remove and discard cinnamon stick. Smash apples with a potato masher. Sprinkle each serving with ground cinnamon.
