Pop popcorn in a hot-air popper or microwave oven according to package directions. In a large bowl combine popcorn and cheese crackers.
In a small saucepan melt margarine over medium heat. Cook chili powder and garlic in hot margarine for 1 to 2 minutes or until garlic is tender. Stir in salt. Drizzle over popcorn mixture; toss gently to coat. Makes 6 servings.
