Directions

  1. Trim away roots from base of green onions; place in a food processor bowl.* Add cucumber to food processor bowl. Cover and process until coarsely chopped. Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Cover and process until almost smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight. Spread on toasted bagel halves. Makes 6 to 8 servings, about 1-1/3 cups spread.

*Note:

  1. If you don't have a food processor, finely chop the cucumber and white part of the green onions. In a medium bowl combine cucumber, green onions, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Cover, refrigerate, and serve as directed.
