Antioxidant Power Smoothies


This simple homemade smoothie recipe is stoked with vitamins and nutrition from blueberries, blackberries, and pomegranate juice.

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

  • 1 6 ounce carton blueberry fat-free yogurt

  • ½ cup pomegranate juice

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • Fresh blueberries and/or blackberries (optional)


  1. In a blender combine the 1 cup blueberries, the 1 cup blackberries, the yogurt, pomegranate juice, and honey. Cover and blend until almost smooth. If desired, press mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove blackberry seeds. Serve immediately. If desired, garnish with additional berries.
