If your feline is fierce, brave, and powerful (well, for their size), then they deserve a name that fits their strong personality. Luckily we have a list of warrior cat names that are all perfect for your furry friend. Many of these monikers are unique, so your kitty is unlikely to have the same name as your neighbor's pet. However, some options, including Otis, Thor, Zelda, and Zeus are on Rover's top names for cats. (If you'd like more common options, we also have a list of the most popular names for both male and female cats.)

A handful of these options are unsurprisingly from Greek mythology; gods are often thought of as fearless, warrior-like individuals. The names Aphrodite, Hercules, Hermes, Venus, and Zeus are fitting choices if you'd like to name your pet after a deity.

Warrior Cat Names

Choosing the one name you're going to call your cat for the rest of their life can be difficult. To help you decide on your cat's name, or any pet's name, for that matter, we recommend saying each one of your favorites out loud. See how you like saying it (because you'll be calling for your cat quite often) and also take note of how your kitty reacts.
