Looking for cute party favors, but not looking to spend a fortune? Don't worry, you can create adorable AND affordable party favors yourself! This cute craft is perfect to hand out after big birthday bashes or holiday festivities.

Switch up the colors and patterns of paper for different occasions. Just think: red and green would make a great stocking stuffer, while orange and black would make sure your Halloween treats steal the show! For an easy gift, choose your friend's favorite candy and colors and create a one-of-a-kind present just for her.

What You Need

  • Pattern here
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Cardstock
  • Ruler
  • Washi tape
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Ribbon

Step 1: Prepare the Pattern and Paper

First, print and cut out the patterns from bhg.com/conevideo. Then, tape the patterns together. Use the pattern to cut out your cardstock. With the pattern still on top of the cardstock, score along the noted lines. Set aside the pattern, and bend the flaps of the cardstock. Place tape along the flaps and close the sides.

Step 2: Add Embellisments

Use washi tape to cover the edges. Next, trim the tape so that it's neat. Add ribbon around the bottom of the cone, using hot glue to attach. If you want to add any other embellishments, go ahead! Stickers, letters, or handwritten sentiments would all be great additions to this project.

Step 3: Fill with Fun Treats

Here's the fun part: Once you have your cone created, you can fill it with your favorite candy or any other fun treats you can think of! For kids, consider including small toys. For adults, a mini bottle of lotion or a fun pair of socks would be great. Get creative with your gorgeous gift!
