Spring cleaning season is officially in full swing. After conquering the KonMari method of cleaning, there's only one place left for decluttering advice: the stars!

OfferUp, a mobile resale marketplace, shared its suggestions for the top area or item to declutter based on your zodiac sign, relating the results to attributes associated with the astrological signs. Instead of trying to tackle every room in your home at once, focus on these small decluttering goals that you can check off your list in an hour or two. Find your sign below and get to work.

Aries (March 21—April 19): Sports Gear

An Aries is always up for trying new things that get them off the couch and active. It's a great trait but can leave them hoarding sports equipment that has seen better days, like deflated tennis balls, old baseball gloves, or worn yoga mats. If your garage is overflowing with sports equipment or gym shoes, focus your decluttering efforts there.

Taurus (April 20—May 20): Kitchen Gadgets

Tauruses are notoriously patient and creative, which makes them more likely to cook a meal than opt for a microwavable dinner. However, this can lead to an overflowing drawer of kitchen gadgets. If you're a Taurus with countertop clutter, we recommend keeping multiple-use appliances, such as the Instant Pot or a stand mixer, and selling or donating the rest.

Gemini (May 21—June 20): Your Phone

Geminis love to stay connected and rarely go an hour without checking social media. Spend some time going through your phone's pictures, apps, and videos. For the memories you hold dear, back them up in the Cloud or consider a phone-friendly flash drive. Permanently delete the rest along with any applications you no longer use. If you have any old phones lying around in a junk drawer, you can get rid of those, too.

Cancer (June 21—July 22): Old Photos

Cancers are always the first to take advantage of a good photo opp. Because of this, they likely have boxes and boxes of photos tucked away in a closet. While printed photographs are great, they're susceptible to damage. Protect your memories by scanning photos to a digital device and spend some time sifting through photos you no longer want to keep.

Leo (July 23—August 22): Clothes

If any sign is going to give in to an impulse buy, it's a Leo. Their carefree personalities prompt them to purchase that cute new top or pair of shoes without a second thought. To declutter, Leos should organize their overflowing drawers or closets. Anything that hasn't been worn in more than a year should be recycled or sold.

Virgo (August 23—September 22): Purse or Backpack

A Virgo is prepared for anything, so they're a good friend to have around. They always have a hairbrush or an extra snack in their purse for times of emergency. However, there's no need to carry an umbrella around on a perfectly sunny day. Virgos, take some time to sort through unnecessary items you're hauling in your purse or backpack.

Libra (September 23—October 22): Makeup

Libras love beautiful things, which can lead them to stockpile pretty cosmetics. If this sounds like you, start decluttering by tossing makeup that is expired or that you'll never use (we're looking at you, glitter from three Halloweens ago). With only the essentials left, invest in drawer organizers to keep your makeup tidy.

Scorpio (October 23—November 21): Hallway Closet

Of all the zodiac signs, Scorpios are best equipped to tackle the hallway closet, which, according to OfferUp's spring cleaning survey, is one of the most-needed cleaning areas. Scorpios love a challenge, so they'll enjoy finding the best system for sorting seasonal coats and ways to create more shoe storage.

Sagittarius (November 22—December 21): Junk Drawer

Sagittariuses are travelers at heart. They love long road trips and creating memories, but they tend to pick up knickknacks along the way. If a souvenir isn't worthy of displaying on a shelf or attaching to your keys, consider donating it. Pictures and videos often capture trips better than a souvenir anyway!

Capricorn (December 22—January 19): Email Inbox

If you end each day with an inbox of zero, we applaud you. Capricorns have the determination to spend an afternoon sifting through spam emails and old conversations. As you declutter your inbox, be sure to unsubscribe from services you no longer want or need.

Aquarius (January 20—February 18): Receipts

No one does philanthropy quite as well as an Aquarius. They love giving back to their community, but they're also aware of the associated tax benefits. Aquariuses are likely to have a receipt drawer to keep track of all their monetary donations. To keep it more organized, consider getting a receipt scanner to digitize your accounts.

Pisces (February 19—March 20): Books

Pisces like to have their fun, but when they need to reenergize, they prefer to do it alone. That's why so many are drawn to quiet places like the library or yoga studio. To better organize at home, a Pisces should focus on their book collection. There, they can identify the books they love most and sort out the ones they don't care to revisit.
