There are few things more instantly recognizable than the opening notes of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”—which isn’t surprising considering it’s the most-streamed holiday song of all time, according to Tech Times. Mariah’s Merry Christmas album turns 25 this year. To celebrate the silver anniversary, the singer announced on Instagram yesterday that she’ll be re-releasing it this year—with brand new songs. "MERRY CHRISTMAS is turning 25 and I’m celebrating by releasing a very special 2 CD Deluxe Anniversary Edition on November 1st featuring, for the first time ever, my St. John The Divine performance and more," she wrote.

No, this is not a drill: Mariah is back. In addition to the unreleased live songs recorded at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, we can also expect to hear new remixes of “Sugar Plum Fairy” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” according to the pre-order listing.  With 29 total tracks sung by the Queen of Christmas herself, you can bet we’re adding this anniversary item to the top of our holiday wish list.

While the CD isn’t officially on sale until November 1, it’s available for pre-order right now. The album itself is just under $14, but if you have some extra cash to spend on stocking stuffers—or an actual stocking—Mariah also has her own line of holiday merchandise. (Santa, if you’re reading this, I could totally rock the Mariah Carey-themed beanie).

For the next 37 days, there are plenty of other ways to get your Mariah fix while waiting for the new tunes to drop. The original CD is still available (Merry Christmas CD, $6.74, Amazon), and in 2015, Mariah wrote a children’s book based on the iconic hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You”—which was then turned into a 90-minute animated film by the same name.

No matter how many times you sing along to the original songs between now and then, go ahead and cancel your plans for November 1. If you need us, we’ll be playing the new album on repeat all day, every day, until Christmas.
