We’ve all driven through those neighborhoods where every house looks identical. Some of us might even live in one. But sometimes you just want your house to stand out and reflect your personal style. So what if you could make over your cookie-cutter home on a budget?

HGTV just announced a new show called Rock the Block that proves it's possible. Four designers will go head-to-head to revamp identical suburban homes in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Each will work with a budget of $150,000 to make the homes one-of-a-kind, and the designer that increases the home's value the most wins.

And the designers aren’t just anyone—in fact, you’re probably familiar with them if you’re an avid HGTV-watcher. Leanne Ford from Restored by the Fords, Jasmine Roth from Hidden Potential, Mina Starsiak from Good Bones, and Alison Victoria from Windy City Rehab will face off throughout the series.

Another HGTV star, Drew Scott of Property Brothers, will host the show. Rock the Block is set to premiere between October and December 2019. Not only can you see some of your favorite HGTV stars in action, but you can also get some great ideas for renovating your own home on a budget.
