If you needed a reason to buy more ice cream this winter, here it is.

We didn’t think it was possible, but somehow Halo Top got even better. Known for delicious, healthier pints of ice cream you’re encouraged to eat in one sitting, the company just announced a new treat that’s a little smaller, but just as tasty. Halo Top Pops are coming, and it’s the same high-protein ice cream you know and love, now served on a stick.

Four flavors have been announced for now, and each one of the pops has between 50 and 60 calories. Because of the smaller portion sizes, there’s less protein in one pop than in a pint—three of the flavors have 2 grams of protein, while Peanut Butter Swirl has the most with 3 grams. Still, that’s not bad for a snack-size ice cream bar, and they’re the perfect amount for anyone who struggles to polish off a whole pint in one sitting.

You probably already know and love two of the flavors that the pops will be available in—both Mint Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, two popular pint flavors, are getting the dessert-on-a-stick treatment. There are also two new luscious flavors in the Halo Top Pop line-up, Strawberry Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Swirl. And knowing Halo Top, these four choices are probably just the beginning.

So how long will it be before you start seeing the new pops joining the pints in the freezer section? Depending on where you live, it might be sooner rather than later. According to a press release, you’ll start seeing Halo Top Pops on shelves as early as February if you live in the Midwest, Texas, or California. Then they’ll roll out in the Northeast, and they should be available at retailers nationwide in May 2019.

If you’re willing to buy in bulk (and really, why wouldn’t you?), the pops are available nationwide today if you order through Halo Top’s website. Maybe it’s the winter weather talking, but we’re already picturing ourselves poolside with one (or maybe two) of these yummy desserts.
