Celebrate Halloween with a Stay in 'The Addams Family' Mansion
You can book a one-night reservation in the townhouse for the final week of October.
One of the most iconic things about The Addams Family was their monster-filled home. Although it's not filled with otherworldly creatures (at least, we hope it's not), there actually is a real life replica of the mansion, and you can rent it. Booking.com is offering guests the opportunity to stay the night in the themed townhouse that's creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky.
In celebration of the new animated film, The Addams Family, which is in theaters now, you can book a one-night stay in the Brooklyn home. The site is selling just four reservations for $101.10 per night from Thursday, October 29, to Friday, November 1. Bookings open at 12 p.m. EST on Monday, October 28 on Booking.com, and though there will likely be a high number of requests, the booking accommodation site hasn't revealed how the four people will be chosen.
The home is a 19th-century era townhouse located in the Clinton Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. The 3,700 square-foot space has three bedrooms; one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with two twin beds; one bathroom; and can accommodate up to four guests per stay. It's equipped with air conditioning, heating, and free WiFi. Each room is impeccably decorated to resemble the Addams' abode, and includes Wednesday's beheaded doll, Morticia's carnivorous plants, and Lurch's famous "you rang" bell. The stay will also feature a screening of the movie with "spooky snacks" and branded amenities.
If you're one of the lucky people who secures a reservation at the home, you'll need to check in from 4 to 5 p.m. on the day of your stay, and check out by 11 a.m. the next day. Children of all ages are welcome, but there must be someone at least 18 years of age in the group. You'll need to leave your furry friend at home because pets are not allowed on the premises.
Although this townhouse isn't as scary as visiting a haunted house, spending a night in the home would be a festive way to celebrate Halloween. If you're interested in securing one of the spots, make sure you log onto the site as soon as bookings open.
