Sliding a duvet cover onto a comforter isn't easy, and we somehow always get lost trying to find our way to the corners. But we finally have a better solution for this frustrating task. For an easier way to get a comforter in its cover, take a look at our speedy solution below. You'll be shocked at what a little tucking and rolling can do for a well-dressed comforter.
Turn the duvet cover inside out. Lay the duvet cover on your bed with the opening at the foot of the bed. Make sure all corners are tugged tight so that there are no folds or wrinkles.
Lay the comforter on top of the duvet cover. Tie or clip the comforter to the corners of the duvet cover.
Start with the end of the duvet cover that is sewn shut and roll both the duvet cover and comforter together toward the open end of the duvet cover. If you have a king-size bed, it may help to have a partner assist you with this step.
Once you've reached the end, invert the duvet cover opening around the ends of both sides of the bundle (like a sandwich baggie) and stuff the center. Button or zip the duvet cover closed.
Unroll the bundle in the opposite direction (back toward the head of the bed) and fluff. The buttons or zipper should remain at the foot of the bed to stay out of sight.
