Here's What a $440,000 Home Looks Like Around the Country

See what kind of home $440,000 can get you across the United States from the Midwest to southern North Carolina.

From town to city, county to state, the price of a home changes a lot. The largest house is not always the most expensive, nor is it necessarily the most updated one. Location influences a house's price the most, and what you find in one area isn't always the same somewhere else. These three homes from across the country, each listed for around $440,000, offer unique features at a similar price point. Locations range from the Midwest to the South and perks include an easy commute, a spacious suburban setting, and unique historical character.
