Sow your salutations and the seeds of the season on personalized note cards embellished with flower seed packets.

What You Need:

Show someone you care by adding something extra to your cards.
  • Scissors
  • Card stock (brown and white)
  • Crafts knife
  • Ruler
  • Seed packet
  • Raffia
  • Double-side adhesive tape

1. Cut a 6-1/4 x 9-1/4-inch rectangle from brown card stock and fold it in half crosswise. If desired, print a short message or your name on the front before cutting out the card. 2. Use a crafts knife and a ruler to make a slit in the card front long enough to allow the seed packet to fit in the opening. Wrap and tie the seed packet with a length of raffia, then slip it into the card, securing the packet with a small piece of tape. Cut a rectangle from white card stock to line the card and tape in place.

More Ideas:

  • Tuck garden gloves in a terra-cotta pot along with gardener¿s soap and your personalized greeting card.
