Easy Easter Eggs: Electrical Tape Idea
Strips of electrical tape add pretty pattern to your Easter eggs. Here's how to apply, dye, and remove the tape for one- or two-color eggs that will be the star of your Easter-egg hunt.
[MUSIC] You will need: an apron, vinegar, rubber gloves, a teaspoon, food coloring, popsicle sticks, electrical tape, hot water, jars, a drying rack, hard-boiled eggs, a crafts knife, a cutting mat, and a slotted spoon. Add 1/2 cup hot water to a jar. Add 1 teaspoon vinegar. Add food coloring to get desired color. Stir to combine. Lay out electrical tape and cut into small strips. Apply tape to eggs and dip egg into dye. Allow to soak until egg is desired shade and let dry. Once dry, remove the tape. Quickly dip in different color dye for a two-tone look. Dab away excess dye and let dry.
