For each ornament, you’ll need 12 uniform paper easter egg shapes in various colors and patterns. Fold each egg in half lengthwise. With the folded edges aligned, glue one egg half to another egg half with a glue stick. Continue gluing egg halves together until all but the last two halves are connected. To create the ornament, cut an 11-inch piece of string and tie the ends to create a loop. Hot glue the knotted end of the loop into the center of the egg shape, then glue the final egg halves together. 03 of 45 Cracked Easter Eggs Blaine Moats These hanging Easter eggs are the perfect place to display small figurines, trinkets, or ornaments. We found the cracked papier-mâché eggs at the craft store and covered the exteriors in chalk paint. We chose a different color for the interior of each egg. Once the paint dried, we filled them with gold faux grass and foil-covered chocolate eggs. Display the finished decorations on cut branches. 04 of 45 Easter Butterfly Garland Carson Downing Use a butterfly template (a cookie cutter works well!) to trace uniform butterflies on marbled paper and cardstock. Use adhesive to secure the cutouts to 6-inch squares of patterned fabric, and insert the fabric squares into each window box. 38 of 45 Easter Egg Embroidery Art Kritsada Panichgul Simple embroidery patterns make this colorful Easter egg decoration a breeze.
