Werewolf Pumpkin Stencil

Before that full moon appeared, there was an ordinary human face carved there... Just kidding! Transform your pumpkin with our striking werewolf stencil, featuring a ravenous beast with its head thrown back in a blood-chilling howl.

Werewolf Pumpkin Stencil

We spray-painted our pumpkin black for inky nighttime emphasis. To get the effect, just set your hollowed-out pumpkin on a disposable tarp in a well-ventilated area and coat it in black spray paint. Mist it with clear varnish to set the paint, let it dry, and then continue carving as usual!

To carve:

1. Clean your pumpkin by cutting a circle in its base and scraping out the seeds and stringy innards. If you want to spray-paint your pumpkin black, follow the directions in the photo caption.

2. Tape your printed stencil onto the pumpkin and use a large pin to prick along the stencil lines. Remove the stencil after tracing all the lines.

3. Etch sections within dotted lines on the stencil by using a gouging tool to gently scrape away the pumpkin skin. Carve sections within solid lines on the stencil by cutting completely through the pumpkin wall with a skinny, serrated knife.

4. Light your pumpkin with a regular or electric candle.
