Make a Take-Home Topper for Halloween Candy

Use this exclusive pattern from Better Homes and Gardens Halloween Tricks and Treats magazine to make a pumpkin-shape topper for Halloween candy sticks.

What You Need:

  • Card stock: orange and black
  • Black paper
  • 1/4-inch orange ribbon
  • Crafts glue

How to Make It:

  1. Download patterns and use to cut two of each shape from orange or black colored card stock, based on the photograph.
  2. Cut the facial features out of one of the pumpkin heads. Then, place the pumpkins on a surface, flopping one so it mirrors the other.
  3. Glue black paper on the inside of the pumpkin head with the face openings, providing a black backdrop to the eyes and mouth. Attach the collar.
  4. On the opposite (front) side, add the hat.
  5. Glue a pumpkin head to each side of a candy stick and finish with bow tied at the neck.
