What's the Difference Between Hulled and Unhulled Grass Seed?

What's the difference between hulled and unhulled grass seed? Does it matter which I use?

Hulled grass seed is seed that has its outer husk removed before it's packaged for sale. It makes little difference which type you use, except that with hulled seed you're getting more seed for your dollar because you're not paying for the weight of the hulls. Both types of seed will sprout equally well as long as you purchase good-quality seed.
