Germander Shrub

Teucrium fruticans

Shrubby germander is a mounding to spreading shrub grown for its attractive gray-green foliage with silver-white undersides and for its fan-shape lavender-blue flowers borne at stem tips in summer and fall. It prefers full sun and dry, well-drained soil. It thrives in heat and poor, rocky sites. Deer avoid browsing shrubby germander.
