From Paint Store to Transformed!

Just when you thought it was time to throw out all of the old paint cards you snagged from the local paint store, here comes this colorful and unique idea to stay organized! Simply purchase a picture frame, cut out 35 paint swatch squares (five of each color from light to dark), and attach them to a piece of white paper or board. Next, frame the "artwork" behind glass, grab a dry-erase marker, and you'll be on your way to chic and easy scheduling!

Go Big and Bold!

Want to make sure you NEVER miss an event? Tackle this giant chalkboard calendar and you are sure to always stay on task! First, create the chalkboard: Adhere vinyl chalkboard paper to your wall, paint the wall with chalkboard paint, or paint over an existing wall color using a clear chalkboard medium. Next, season the wall by chalking over it with the blunt side of the chalk, and then rub the chalk off with a cotton cloth. This allows all future chalk to adhere to the chalkboard. Finally, create a grid using white painter's tape. Voila! An instant bold and beautiful calendar that's perfect for any home office or playroom.
