Maximize A Small Space Nook
Have a small nook you aren't sure what to do with? Jen from the blog City Farmhouse has some smart ideas.
[MUSIC] When we first moved in it was very bare, so I just worked with what I had and what I had was just a small dresser. It just wasn't particularly functional for our family. The school bus comes and everybody's scrambling to put on shoes So I had an idea that I wanted to put some sort of bench there. I found the perfect crate, perfect size, perfect width, if you open it up, there's great storage underneath. All I did was basically put casters on, and it just slid right in. I like to layer my walls with anything that I make or my children make. I just feel like it adds a nice touch to a home. More people walk in and they see handmade art or, art that's been made by the family or the homeowner. I just think it's a great personal touch. How I keep this space kinda fresh and fun and change it out seasonally is through the pillows. I just like to mix and match and kinda bring more of a rustic chic look to the space. [MUSIC] My sons can put on their shoes before the bus comes. I would say this space gets used at least five to six times a day, maybe even more. [MUSIC]
