Spring Tablescape

Fresh springtime touches add easy casual style to a warm-weather table setting. Try one or all these ideas at your next sunny gathering.

Springtime touches of green and lavender spread over a white tablecloth look clean and airy. Large green napkins layered across the table form a runner and a beaded place mat frames the centerpiece. Split a dozen roses between your guest by placing tow or three in small vases by each place setting.

Embroidered napkins embellish the backs of chairs and lend sweet elegance.

Use a shell collection to anchor a vase of hydrangea. If you don't have shells on hand, try using other pretty little objects, such as glass beads or buttons.

A whimsical place setting is easily created by tying beaded trinkets around napkins with ribbon.
