Grab your wallet and get your list ready: One of the biggest shopping events of the year is nearly upon us. Prime Day is the much-anticipated occasion when Amazon offers deep discounts on thousands of products exclusively for Prime members, and we now have the official dates. Amazon Prime Day 2021 will run from June 21 through June 22.

The annual event launched in 2015 and has since grown to encompass more than two million deals across all the site's categories—the most savings ever offered for Prime Day. About half of those deals will be from small- and medium-sized businesses, so you can shop small with the convenience of Amazon's super-fast shipping. And if you spend $10 on products from select small businesses between June 7 and June 20, you'll get a $10 credit to use on Prime Day.

When Is Amazon Prime Day 2021?

Prime Day officially begins at midnight PST on Monday, June 21. The deals will last through Tuesday, June 22, giving you a full 48 hours to shop tons of deals on must-have items. You can also shop early deals on products like Amazon devices, kitchen appliances, home furnishings, pet supplies, and more leading up to Prime Day. Head to Amazon's Prime Day page to stay up-to-date on all the latest discounts and info about the event.

How to Shop Amazon Prime Day 2021

To shop 2021 Prime Day deals, you'll need a Prime membership first. Amazon Prime costs $119 annually (or $12.99 per month) and offers members exclusive shipping deals, including free same-day delivery and one- or two-day shipping. It also grants access to Amazon movies, books, and music; grocery delivery services; and a host of other benefits. To fully take advantage of the Prime Day festivities, sign up for a Prime subscription ahead of time and keep an eye out for sales announcements leading up to the event.

Last year's Prime Day rivaled Black Friday and Cyber Monday with thousands of discounts on favorite items like air fryers and Amazon voice assistant devices. This year, you can expect even more amazing deals on electronics, apparel, furniture and decor, kitchen appliances, and more items on your shopping list.

In the meantime, you can check Amazon's daily deals page for the latest discounts leading up to Prime Day. Happy shopping!
