What You Need

  • Paper hole punch
  • Scissors or crafts knife
  • Marbled paper
  • Arrow marquee kit

Step 1: Trace

Begin the project with an arrow template. If no template was provided with your marquee light kit, simply trace around the plastic marquee interior using a sheet of scratch paper, then cut out the shape. Trace the arrow template onto the back of the marbled paper.

Tip: For a fun variation, try using striped or patterned paper instead of marbled paper.

Step 2: Cut

Next, grab your scissors and cut out the arrow shape you've traced onto the marbled paper. Use a paper punch to cut holes for the lights.

Step 3: Assemble

Place the paper cutout into the arrow. Attach the light bulbs that came with the kit, and insert the string lights. Finally, tuck the wires and battery pack into the back of the arrow. Display on a stack of books, next to indoor greenery, or wherever you just want a little extra style!
