Meet Magnolia Home, The Newest Paint Line You'll Love

Interior designer Joanna Gaines has been taking the design world by storm with her hit design show Fixer Upper, her popular blog and online store called Magnolia Market, and now her recently launched home interior paint line Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines. Fans of Joanna's work have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on her hand-picked paint colors, and now the wait is over -- Joanna's paint line has finally arrived.

The Dream Team

Joanna is known for transforming the drab into fab with her trademark modern farmhouse design style. It was only a matter of time before her passion and eye for color would culminate into a full interior paint line. Joanna partnered with Kilz paints, one of the most popular primer and specialty paint companies on the market to create her line of paint; design and paint enthusiasts are calling the partnership a "dream team" and the ultimate paint collaboration. Currently, Magnolia Home paint is only available for purchase at Joanna's Magnolia Market online shop.

The Colors

Joanna shared on her blog that she selected the shades, finishes, and names of each of the 25-plus paint colors in the Magnolia Home paint line so far. With more than 150 colors coming to the full line in the near future, Joanna is calling the initial group of colors her signature collection. Joanna describes the pending full line of colors as "some bold, some soft, some neutral, and some warm, but all different."

The Fan Favorites

There are already some fan-favorite colors in Joanna's recently launched signature collection. Rainy Days is a soft and light beautiful blue with a gray undertone that would look stunning in any room. Emmie's Room is a light taupe color named after Joanna's daughter's room. Joanna says Magnolia Green is "the green of a magnolia bulb just waiting to burst out" and it is "a classic, go-to green. It's a color that will stand the test of time and represents the anticipation of a bloom right around the corner." Another fan favorite is Blackboard, which Joanna describes as "the nostalgic feeling of a blackboard in an old schoolhouse. I love the way this color tells a story of times past, and the way it defines whatever is set up against it," she says.

Primer and Paint in One

Joanna to not only blows us away with her beautifully curated colors, but she and Kilz also created a paint that is dual-purpose -- a stain-blocking primer and paint in one, which saves time (fewer coats needed), and all-in-one primer and paint products produce a solid and even finish.
