Fairy-Tale Cone

Create these silvery cones and fill them with heart-shaped rice to toss at the couple.

What You Need:

Nestle the cones in a bowl of almonds coated with sugar and glazed with edible silver.
  • 12 x 12-inch sheet of scrapbook paper
  • Decorative-edge scissors
  • Glue gun and hotmelt adhesive
  • 7-inch length of 1-inch-wide ribbon
  • 24-inch length of 1/4-inch-wide ribbon

  1. Use the decorative-edge scissors to cut the scrapbook paper in half diagonally, forming two triangles. Trim the remaining straight edges of each triangle with the scissors.
  2. Place the triangles together, wrong sides facing, with the edges slightly off-center to expose the wrong side of the paper at the corners. Hot-glue the triangles together.
  3. Overlap the short edges of the triangle to create the desired-size cone; hot-glue in place.
  4. Glue the 1-inch-wide ribbon around the center of the cone.
  5. Tie the 1/4-inch-wide ribbon into a bow, and glue to the center front of the wider ribbon.
