Globes and Tassels

Construct a party-worthy garland by stringing two baker's twine projects together: globes and tassels.

Get the globe shape by wrapping small inflated balloons with baker's twine, leaving an opening on opposite sides to thread the hanger. Brush the wrapped balloons with decoupage medium. Let fry; then pop and remove the balloons. To make tassels, wrap twine around the width of a DVD case, remove from the case, and tie a small piece of twine around one looped end approximately 1-1/2" from the end. Cut through the loop on the opposite end. Tie a piece of twine to the looped end for a hanger.
