How to Make a White Grapevine Wreath with a Snowy Winter Village

Tis the season for crafts, wreaths, and merriment! Here's how to create an adorable white grapevine winter wreath that features a tiny house and white pom-poms that look like tiny snowballs.

White pom-poms create the element of a snowy village on this otherwise simple pine wreath.

The holidays are a great time of year to dress up your decor with handmade projects. This lovely little grapevine wreath is the perfect craft to work on with friends of family over a cup of hot cocoa. Because it features paper-based materials, we suggest keeping this wreath indoors where's it's protected from the elements. Check out the directions below to see how easy it is to make your version.

How to Make the Grapevine Wreath

  1. Start with at grapevine wreath that's already white or apply a light coat of matte-finish spray paint to a natural-finish wreath. Use a light touch if painting; you want it to have a muted look and still allow a bit of the wood tone to peek through.

  2. Begin adding pom-pom sprays, greenery and pine cones, wiring them in place with floral wire. Tuck the twisted ends of the wire inside the wreath to hide them.

  3. If the paper mâché house you wound isn't white, hit it with a coat of spray paint; let dry. You may need more than one coat to get a crisp white look. Once you've finished painting, use floral wire to secure the tiny house to your wreath.

  4. Position bottle brush trees on either side of the house and secure in place with wire.
