What You'll Need

  • Stocking
  • Cream felt sheet
  • Tiny pom-poms
  • Pom-Pom trim

Leftover pom-pom trim? Try making this no-sew stocking!

Step 1: Make the Petals

Make accordion folds of 1/2-inch sections onto cream flat sheet of felt. Iron for a few seconds to make crease. Cut into sections, matching widths. Cut out curve along folded edge and open up to show perfectly symmetrical poinsettia petal shape. Cut out thirty petal shapes.

Step 2: Glue Flowers

Hot glue six petals in an overlapping pattern, then glue the poinsettia to the stocking. We added three flowers. Try spacing the flowers evenly or arrange them in a cluster on the stocking.

Step 3: Add Embellishments

Glue tiny pom-poms in the center of flowers. Hot glue a pom-pom trim to the top edging. Choose a bright, multicolored trim to add a pop of color.
