8 New Christmas Albums We'll Have on Repeat All December Long
These new Christmas albums will have you Rocking Around the Christmas Tree all season long.
Whether you’ve already started listening to Santa Claus Is Coming to Town or you’re waiting until after Thanksgiving to tune into your favorite holiday radio station, there’s nothing like a good Christmas song to get you in the holiday spirit. And while we love a classic carol, we tend to listen to so much Christmas music that we get burnt out around mid-December. Luckily, there are dozens of new holiday albums and singles that have been or will be released this year, so you won’t run out of fresh holiday tunes.
We’ve rounded up our favorite new albums (all under $15!) to help you get your Jingle Bell Rock on.
You know Pentatonix for their upbeat a capella pop covers and Christmas classics—and this year they’re back with even more. In October, the group released their fifth holiday album, which features four new songs as well as a selection of the group’s greatest holiday hits. In addition to the five main group members, the tracks feature special guests Tori Kelly, Kelly Clarkson, Maren Morris, Jazmine Sullivan, and Jennifer Hudson.
By Idina Menzel
The Frozen star released her second holiday album last month, and we’ve been listening to it on repeat in our office. The album features four duets with artists Billy Porter, Josh Gad, Ariana Grande, and Aaron Lohr (Menzel’s husband). In addition to 17 Christmas tracks, the album also features a Spanish Hanukkah song titled Ocho Kandelikas. Stream it free with Amazon Prime, pick up a copy of the record on vinyl, or put the CD on your holiday wishlist.
By Bing Crosby with the London Symphony Orchestra
Whether we’re watching White Christmas on repeat or listening to his original holiday tunes, Bing Crosby has always been a part of our Christmas celebrations. And although the iconic performer passed away in 1977, this October, his family announced a posthumous album would be released on November 22. The album will have 14 tracks featuring Crosby’s vocals combined with newly-recorded arrangements from The London Symphony Orchestra. The album is available for pre-order (with free delivery!), and arrives by Tuesday, November 26.

Last month the rock band Chicago released their fourth holiday collection, the band’s 37th album. Although the band’s previous holiday albums were made up of pretty traditional holiday tracks, this one features almost all new, original content. Chicago Christmas has 8 original songs and three festive Christmas covers.
By Lea Michele
Glee star Lea Michele is no stranger to covering classic hits, and her newly-released holiday album has several of our traditional Christmas favorites. The album features 11 tracks, with classic hits like O Holy Night, Silver Bells, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and an original song titled Christmas in New York. Darren Criss, Cynthia Erivo, and Jonathan Groff are also featured on the album. And, good news for Amazon Prime members: You can stream the album for free on Amazon Music.
By Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You turns 25 this year, and we officially feel old. To celebrate the anniversary, the singer is re-releasing her iconic Merry Christmas album this year—with two never-before-released live songs. The new tracks were previously recorded at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. According to the album listing, one of the 29 tracks will be a new remix of Sugar Plum Fairy, and we couldn't be more excited.
By Brynn Stanley
Brynn Stanley's third album is packed full of holiday cheer. With classics like Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer and What Are You Doing New Year's Eve, Stanley's smooth, jazzy voice will make you want to put up your tree and make a batch of Christmas cookies immediately. If you're a Prime member, you can stream the album for free on Amazon Music.
