Netflix is delivering Christmas cheer a few months early: This morning the streaming service announced that a second installment of The Christmas Chronicles (the 2018 holiday hit featuring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Santa and Mrs. Claus) is dropping in November. The streaming service shared a short preview of the film on Twitter, with a Tweet that says “It's time for Mrs. Claus to get her due.”

The original movie, which aired in 2018, featured a young brother and sister who pulled an all-nighter to save Christmas—with the help of Santa Claus himself. And from the looks of the new trailer, Christmas will be saved yet again this year—although not without a few complications!

Goldie Hawn also shared the teaser for the film with the caption, “My favorite Santa Claus is back! And he's not alone.” After 34 years of real-life marriage, we can’t think of a better duo to play this classic couple.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has released an original Christmas series: In 2017 they produced a feel-good holiday flick titled A Christmas Prince, which became an instant viral hit. A sequel to the film was released in 2018, and A Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby was part of Netflix’s Christmas programming last year.

And it sounds like there will be more Christmas cheer coming from the streaming service this year. Last year, Netflix released six new original Christmas movies, and we’re patiently waiting for this year’s lineup to be announced. A Netflix representative confirmed to us that the service will be releasing new holiday flicks, although titles and dates haven’t been shared yet. We’re already excited to plan our holiday movie marathons this season, so we’ll keep you updated on all the details as they’re released.
