How to Make Crepe Paper Pom-Poms
Gift wrap just got gorgeous. Crepe paper makes for cheap, impactful bows that are way more versatile than store-bought. Here's how to turn sheets of crepe paper into decor.
[MUSIC] Crepe paper pom-poms. You'll need: Fringe scissors, tape, ribbon, wrapped gift, crepe paper sheets or rolls, hot-glue gun, scissors. Cut crepe paper into 2 inch strips (can skip this step if using crepe paper rolls). Layer 4 strips of the crepe paper. Cut to about 28 inches. Tape down at one end. Pull taut and fringe about 3/4 way across width of the strip. Repeat with additional crepe (8 strips total). Layer the crepe paper. Loosely wrap cut crepe paper to form a bunch. Hot-glue a square of crepe paper to the bottom as a base. Hot-glue pom-pom to the gift. Fluff the pom-pom to cover the base.
