Sweater Trees: An Adorable Christmas Centerpiece
Old Christmas sweaters become fresh-and-fuzzy additions to your table display. Here's how to turn a past-its-prime Christmas cover-up into an eye-catching Christmas centerpiece.
[MUSIC] Stuffed sweater trees. You'll need: Old holiday sweater, stuffing, sewing machine, 1/4 inch wood dowel, hot-glue gun, wood glue, wood clippers, power drill, coin of wood. Cut a long triangle, cutting through both layers of the sweater. Turn inside out and pin the two sides together. Sew the long sides together, leaving a small opening on the short side. Turn the tree right side out. Stuff the tree with polyfill. Insert wooden dowel into the gap. Cut dowel to size. Drill a hole in the center of wood coin, add glue, and insert dowel. Hot-glue the gap shut.
