6-inch length of 5/16-inch-wide red-and-white check ribbon
Glue gun and hotmelt adhesive
Red and white buttons
How to Make It:
Trace a child's mitten to make a pattern. Use the pattern to cut four mittens from red and white felt. Glue together the four mittens in a stack with spray adhesive, aligning all the edges.
Blanket-stitch the curved edges of the mittens with contrasting yarn. For the hanging loop, fold the ribbon in half and hot-glue the cut ends to the back of the mitten.
Cut a 13/4x14-inch cuff from felt. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise; spray with adhesive. Wrap the cuff around the mitten top, overlapping the short edges and hot-gluing in place. Hot-glue buttons to the mitten front.
